AVELLA HISTORY & GENEALOGY FAIR

The annual Avella History and Genealogy Fair

• Held each year on the last Saturday of September- this Year Sep. 29

• (2006 also included a Spring Fair)

• The Avella Community Center Gymnasium/ exhibition center

• Numerous history and genealogy-related displays!

• If your interests include area coal mining, farming and railroading history, this is right up your alley!

• If you are interested in family histories in Southwestern PA and WestVirginia Panhandle, this is for you, too!

• Historical displays found nowhere else! 

• Some items are available for sale

• The ladies of St. Michael's RC Church will sell a delicious array of food&refreshments

• Estimated starting time is about 8:00 am, after exhibitors have set up, and will go into mid-late afternoon

• The Location is on the "Heights Hill" in Avella. Follow the signs!
