(Hours expanding as more volunteers come on-board and are trained)

The Train Station Headquarters Renovation is now complete!

These photos are of the renovated train station/headquarters and the official presentation of a framed occupancy permit by Independence Township code officer David Howard, on the morning of the Spring History Fair, May 29, 2006. Some members of the Board of the AD White Research Society were on hand for the presentation.

More than 100 members of the public visited the station during the open house on that day.

(NOTE: This Web Site is currently being developed. It should be complete by the end of the summer, as additional content is located and incorporated. It will consist of a number of "pages." I have begun the second page by uploading a few photos of the Avella Train Station as it looked before the AD White Research Society acquired and renovated it.
